I love the genuine connections I get to make with children and their families. I truly enjoy the aspects of how the brain and nervous system work and problem solving why the child may move toward or away from activities or demands, looking beyond behaviors with compassion, to support the child and family overcome any obstacle. Ultimately, it brings me pure joy to see your child conquer a new challenge, try new things, and build confidence doing everyday activities!

I have a relationship first and real-life approach to helping children participate in every day activities. My goal is to support your child’s foundational skills, sensory health and overall wellness in order to help them feel safe within the context of the environment and with those they engage with, which is when true connection and learning can occur! With a holistic approach, I strive to support children with all abilities through therapeutic activities and strategies that support overall development and well-being. I am a firm believer that all children are good, and do well if they can.

A big reason why I started Little Roots OT is to offer services that support children and families WHEN and HOW they need it. In a traditional model, your providers and insurance dictate how much, when and if you qualify for support. If your child is struggling participating in everyday activities, or you have concerns about your child’s development that is impacting your family as a whole, a wellness-based OT is for you! All children and families can benefit from support to optimize how they navigate their world to enhance the joys of being a kid. From creating more positive mealtimes, managing difficult transitions, or navigating big emotions, I am here to help make sense of how your child is interacting with the world and others to help your family thrive!
